| When did work commence on the new RCH? |
| Site preparation commenced in late 2007. |
| When did the new RCH open? |
| was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen in late October 2011, with the move of patients and services following one month later. It opened for service on 30 November 2011. The opening of the new hospital signified the end of Stage 1 of the project. |
| When does work start on Stage 2 and when does it finish? |
| Work on Stage 2 commences in February 2012, when demolition of most of the existing hospital will start. Stage 2 works are expected to be completed by the end of 2014. More information on Stage 2 can be found here. |
| When will Royal Park be reinstated? |
| Park reinstatement will be completed in 2014. |
