Project funding and donations - The new Royal Children's Hospital project

Who funded the new RCH?
The $1 billion new Royal Children’s Hospital was funded by the Victorian State Government and delivered as a public private partnership (PPP) under the Partnerships Victoria policy. This policy captures the best of what the Government does and the expertise of private sector in designing, financing, building and maintaining large infrastructure projects.

How can I donate to the RCH?
Construction of the new RCH was fully funded by the Victorian Government. Donations to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation will be used to purchase equipment that will also be used in the new hospital, as well as for paediatric research and scholarship programs.
